These include the Mathematics Subject Classification (MSC), produced by the two major mathematical reviewing databases, Mathematical Reviews and Zentralblatt MATH for the field of Mathematics.

The website Wikipedia was a source for the tree structure set out for many of the other areas of knowledge.
